Programme:

We will meet up at 16.05 in Sorrento out of the Train

Station (you will see me, I'll be the man with the

orange scarf!! :o) ), than we will walk to visit some

presepe, the most important is the exibition (free

entry!) of Villa Fiorentino (3 floors about the art of

presepe!). If we have time we will visit others presepe

in some churchs. At 19.00 I think we will finish and

who wants can have an icecream or pizza together, or

you can come back by train.

visitare vari presepi, il momento più importante sarà

presso l'esibizione di Villa Fiorentino (entrata

gratuita, 3 piani dedicati all'arte del presepe). Se

avremo tempo visiteremo altri presepi in alcune chiede.

Alle 19.00 credo che avremo finito e chi vuole potrà

andare a mangiare un gelato o una pizza insieme, oppure

si può tornare con il treno.

Attenzione, perchè l'ultimo treno partirà alle 21.37

Do you have any plans for next weekend? ;-) .. if you have not yet I suggest a couple of events that I attend and that I consider really cool! :-)

SATURDAY (29 october): Truffles and chestnuts food festival, in Bagnoli Irpino (AV)

The event involves the entire city center, so you park outside the city and there is shuttle service, the streets are full of stalls, most of which sell local products (including oil, wine, cheese and salami), other than selling the famous Bagnoli Irpino’s “scorzone” (black truffle), the price is around 100 euros per kilo .. but do not be scared, truffles have a very low specific weight and therefore with a ten euro you can buy one, maybe to make a great noodle (http://www.ideericette.it/ricetta-tagliatelle-al-tartufo/)! :-)

During the festival tons of chestnuts will be distributed for free at various points in the city while for dining there are dozens of points self-managed by local people .. in short, a must for lovers of food festivals! :-)

The event takes place from Friday to Monday, I'm going there Saturday afternoon soon ;-)

SUNDAY (30 october): Excursion to Vesuvius: Mount Somma from the Valley of Hell

Be held on Sunday, with the Association Ulyxes, an hike on our beloved Vesuvius; the path, which starts from the Valley of Hell to get on the Mount Somma, is classified as hiking ("E": http://it.wikipedia .org / wiki / Path), and of medium difficulty (and challenging), so to partecipate you need at least hiking shoes and appropriate clothing for weather conditions that may present, I ask those are intersted to contact me to provide more informations as it become available.

Meanwhile, during the last weekend, we organized a self- produced workshop for soap (about it I hope to write a post soon) and today we're going to Agerola to collect chestnuts .. in short, autumn came ..and we’re organizing to go on :-)

avete già programmi per il prossimo fine settimana? ;-) .. se non ne avete ancora vi propongo un paio di eventi a cui parteciperò e che ritengo davvero belli!! :-)

SABATO (29 ottobre): Sagra del tartufo e delle castagne a Bagnoli Irpino (AV)

L'evento coinvolge l'intero centro cittadino, si parcheggia dunque fuori città e ci sono servizi navetta, le strade sono invase di bancarelle, la maggior parte delle quali vende prodotti locali (tra cui olio, vino, formaggi e salumi), diverse vendono il famoso scorzone di Bagnoli Irpino (tartufo nero), il prezzo si aggira sui 100 euro al chilo .. ma non fatevi spaventare, i tartufi hanno un peso specifico molto basso e quindi con una decina di euro potrete aggiudicarvene uno, per fare magari una grande tagliatella (http://www.ideericette.it/ricetta-tagliatelle-al-tartufo/)! :-)

Durante la sagra quintali di castagne saranno distribuite gratuitamente in diversi punti della città, mentre per mangiare ci sono decine di punti autogestiti dalla popolazione locale .. insomma, una festa imperdibile per gli amanti delle sagre! :-)

La manifestazione si tiene da venerdì a lunedì, io ci andrò sabato pomeriggio presto ;-)

DOMENICA (30 ottobre): Escursione sul Vesuvio, dalla Valle dell'Inferno al Monte Somma

Si terrà domenica, con l'Associazione Ulyxes, una bella escursione sul nostro caro Vesuvio; il sentiero, che partirà dalla Valle dell'Inferno per arrivare sul Monte Somma, è classificato come escursionistico ("E": http://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sentiero), quindi di media difficoltà (e impegno): sono quindi indispensabili scarpe da trekking e un abbigliamento adeguato alle condizioni meteorologiche che potrebbero presentarsi, agli interessati chiedo di contattarmi, in modo da fornire maggiori informazioni appena disponibili.

Intanto vi aggiorno che durante questo fine settimana abbiamo organizzato un'auto-produzione di saponi (riguardo la quale spero di scrivere un post a breve) e oggi andremo ad Agerola per la raccolta di castagne :-) .. insomma, l'autunno incalza .. e noi ci organizziamo come possiamo :-)

16.10.2011 - Deers in love, second edition!

Hi ,

after the moderate success of last year, next weekend we will be visiting the Abruzzo National Park for an excursion to see the deers in love! :-) .. we will hike to "Lago Vivo", between Barrea and Alfedena (some info here: http://forum.meteonetwork.it/reportage-fotografici/81694-escursione-lago-vivo-barrea-aq-sentiero-k6-k5.html), of average difficulty, it will be from 9 am to 3 pm or so (the effective time of walk is about 3 / 4 hours), with a vertical drop of 550 meters, currently I do not know if there will be a cost for the guide, but probably we will go without a guide (in case we will have, there will be a cost between 5 and 15 euros per person).

The Abruzzo National Park is about 2 hours by car from Naples (I will leave from Torre del Greco, near Naples, on Saturday morning, I do not know if I will have seats in the car).

I have an holiday house in Castel di Sangro, 20 minutes from the National Park and would have the opportunity to host someone, other persons might come directly on Sunday morning or find a cheap B&B in the area or maybe there is someone else who has an house there to host.

Currently there are no specific programs, apart from the excursion, but I think we'll be in the area relaxing, visiting small towns and enjoying the nature.

At the moment we are about 5 friends and other that will let me know.

For those wishing to participate need to remember to use hiking shoes and appropriate clothing.

The expenses for the participation, as well as those for the guide (from 0 to 15 euros per person), will be shared, they could be: about 60 euros between gasoline and highway to be divided among the participants and the cost of food .

In case anyone is interested, please contact me as soon as possible to get everything organized.

Salve,

dopo il discreto successo dello scorso anno, il prossimo week end visitemo il Parco Nazionale d'Abruzzo per un'escursione per vedere i cervi in amore! :-) .. faremo un'escursione al "Lago Vivo", tra Barrea e Alfedena (qualche info qui:http://forum.meteonetwork.it/reportage-fotografici/81694-escursione-lago-vivo-barrea-aq-sentiero-k6-k5.html), di media difficoltà, durerà dalle 9 am alle 3 pm circa (effettivi di cammino sono circa 3/4 ore), con un dislivello di 550 metri, attualmente non so se ci sarà un costo per la guida, ma probabilmente andremo senza guida (nel caso in cui ci fosse il costo sarebbe compreso tra i 5 e i 15 euro a persona).

Il Parco Nazionale d'Abruzzo dista circa 2 ore di auto da Napoli (io partirò da Torre del Greco, vicino Napoli sabato mattina, non so se avrò posti in auto).

Io ho una casa a Castel di Sangro, a 20 minuti dal Parco Nazionale ed avrei la possibilità di ospitare qualcuno; gli altri potrebbero venire direttamente domenica o trovare un B&B in zona oppure non so se c'è qualcun altro che ha casa li e può ospitare.

Attualmente non ci sono programmi precisi a parte l'escursione, ma credo staremo in zona, tra relax, piccoli centri e natura.

Al momento siamo 5 amici e altri devono farmi sapere.

A chi volesse partecipare ricordo la necessità di usare scarpe da trekking e abbigliamento adeguato.

Le spese da sostenere per la partecipazione, oltre a quelle dell'eventuale guida (da 5 a 15 euro a persona) saranno condivise, potrebbero essere: circa 60 euro per auto tra benzina e autostrada da dividere tra i partecipanti e le spese di vitto.

Nel caso in cui qualcuno fosse interessato, vi prego di contattarmi prima possibile per organizzarci.

22-24 luglio 2011 - Week end ad Agerola con escursione alla Valle delle Ferriere e altro!

nel week end dal 22 al 24 luglio sarò ad Agerola (NA) per un appuntamento annuale che ritengo ormai imperdibile! :-) .. chiunque ne fosse interessato può aggregarsi liberamente, facendomelo sapere.

Questo è il mio programma di massima (potrebbe subire modifiche):
- venerdì 22 luglio arrivo ad Agerola, dopo una passeggiata rilassante, probabile bagno serale in costiera amalfitana; la sera io dormirò nell'unico ostello/camping di Agerola (www.beatasolitudo.it), ma ognuno potrà trovare/scegliere la sistemazione che ritiene migliore (qui trovate alcune possibili sistemazioni:http://www.comune.agerola.​na.it/index.php?action=ind​ex&p=75);
- sabato 23 luglio sveglia con calma, mare ad Amalfi (credo alla spiaggia di Duoglio, discesa a piedi con 340 scalini, ritorno si può anche prendere piccola barca/taxi diretta ad Amalfi per 4 euro credo, entrata libera); la sera ritorno ad Agerola per la Sagra "Borgo del Pane - saperi e sapori agerolesi" nella frazione Bomerano, con la musica del World Music Festival (http://www.proagerola.it/e​venti/775/).
- domenica 24 luglio escursione (di media difficoltà) nella Valle delle ferriere (http://www.proagerola.it/i​-sentieri/valle-delle-ferr​iere/), da San Lazzaro (Agerola) ad Amalfi (durata circa 4 ore, possibilità di bagno nel fiume); arrivati ad Amalfi potremo fare un altro bagno al mare oppure una passeggiata, ritorno in autobus ad Agerola per l'ultima sera del World Music Festival. Alla fine dei concerti (verso mezzanotte) partenza per tornare a casa! ;-)

Se volete venire consiglio di prenotare quanto prima per trovare posto, Agerola sarà piena in quel periodo (se volete dormire in tenda - che dovrete portare voi - non c'è bisogno di prenotare in anticipo, in campeggio c'è sempre posto).

Qui trovate indicazioni su come raggiungere Agerola con l'autobus (anche se è consigliabile venire in auto o cercare un passaggio, perchè soprattutto domenica sera non ci saranno autobus):

on week end from July 22 to 24 I'll be in Agerola (NA) for an annual appointment that I can't miss! :-) ... whoever could be intersted in can join, making me know about it.

This is my personal approximate programme (it could change):
- friday July 22 arrive in Agerola, after a relaxing walk, probable evening bath on the Amalfi coast; in the night I'll sleep in the unique hostel/camping of Agerola (www.beatasolitudo.it), but everyone could find/choose his best way to be accomodate (here you find some possible contacts for accomodation:http://www.comune.agerola.​na.it/index.php?action=ind​ex&p=75);
- saturday July 23 get up not too early, sea in Amalfi (maybe the beach called Duoglio, about 340 steps to reach it, coming back we could take a little taxi/boat to Amalfi that coasts about 4 euro, free entry on the beach); in the evening come back in Agerola for the food festival "The bread's hamlet - knowledges and flavours of Agerola" in the fraction of Bomerano, with the music of World Music Festival (here is the programme: http://www.proagerola.it/e​venti/775/).
- sunday July 24 hiking (of medium difficulty) to the Valle delle Ferriere (http://www.proagerola.it/i​-sentieri/valle-delle-ferr​iere/), from San Lazzaro (Agerola) to Amalfi (duration about 4 hours, possibility of bath in the river); arrived in Amalfi we could have another bath on the beach or a walk, then we come back by bus to Agerola for the last night of the World Music Festival. At the end of the concert (about at midnight) we leave to come back home! ;-)

If you want to join I suggest you to researve as soon as possible to find a place to stay, Agerola will be full in that days (if you want to sleep in tent - you must bring your own tent in that case - it will be not a problem to researve with a great advance, there is always place for that in the camping).

en el fin de semana que va del 22 al 24 de julio estarè en Agerola (NA) para atender a un evento que ya considero imperdible! :-) ... quien estè interesado puede agregarse sin problema comunicandomelo.

Este es mi plan aproximado (podria tener modificaciones):
- viernes 22 de julio llegada en Agerola, despues de un paseo relajante, probable baño nocturno en la costera amalfitana; la noche dormirè en el unico hostal/campamento de Agerola(www.beatasolitudo.it), pero cada uno podrà buscar/escoger su mejor alojamiento (aqui pueden encontrar algunas posibilidades de alojamiento: http://www.comune.agerola.​na.it/index.php?action=ind​ex&p=75);
- sabado 23 de julio nos despertamos con calma, vamos al mar en Amalfi (creo en la playa de Duoglio, tiene una escalera de 340 pasos para llegar al mar, volviendo se puede tomar un pequeño barco/taxi rumbo Amalfi que cuesta acerca 4 euro, la entrada a la playa està libre); en la tarde volvemos en Agerola para el festival de comida "Pueblo del Pan - conocimientos y sabores de Agerola" en la fraccion de Bomerano, con la musica del World Music Festival (http://www.proagerola.it/e​venti/775/).
- domingo 24 de julio excursion (de media dificultad) en el Valle delle ferriere (http://www.proagerola.it/i​-sentieri/valle-delle-ferr​iere/), de San Lazzaro (Agerola) hasta Amalfi (duracion acerca 4 horas, posibilidad de bañarse en el rio); llegados en Amalfi podremos bañarnos o ir a la playa o dar una vuelta, luego regresamos en autobus en Agerola para la ultima noche del World Music Festival. Al terminar los conciertos (mas o menos a la medianoche) partimos para volver a nuestros hogares! ;-)

Si quieren venir les consejo de reservar cuanto antes para encontrar un alojamiento, Agerola estarà llena en aquellos dias (si quieren dormir en tienda - que debran llevar por si mismos - no hay necesitad de reservar en avance, en el campamento hay siempre puesto para las tiendas).

Aqui encontran indicaciones para alcanzar Agerola con el autobus (aunque seria aconsejable venir en coche o buscar un pasaje, sobretodo porque el domingo en la noche no hay autobuses)

le week-end du 22 to 24 Juillet je serai à Agerola (NA) pour un événement annuel à ne pas manquer! :-) .. qui est intéressé peut participer librement, il faut me le dire.

- samedi, 23 Juillet on se reveille tranquillement et on va à la mer (à la Duoglio plage, on arrive faisant 340 étapes, pour rentrer directement à Amalfi vous pouvez prendre le petit bateau / taxi pour 4 euros je pense, entrée libre à la plage) en soirée retour à Agerola pour le festival "Village du Pain - connaissances et goûts d'Agerola " dans le territoire de Bomerano, avec la musique du World Music Festival (www.proagerola.it/eventi/7​75/).
- dimanche, 24 Juillet excursion (difficulté moyenne) dans la Vallée de les Ferriere (www.proagerola.it/i-sentie​ri/valle-delle-ferriere/), de San Lazzaro (Agerola) à Amalfi (4 heures de promenade, possibilité de se baigner dans la rivière), arrivés à Amalfi on peut prendre un autre bain dans la mer ou faire une promenade, retour en bus à Agerola pour la dernière soirée du World Music Festival. A la fin du concert (vers minuit) on va partir pour rentrer à la maison! ;-)

Si vous souhaitez participer je vous conseille de réserver votre place dès que possible, Agerola sera plein en ces jours (si vous voulez dormir dans une tente - amenez vous votre tente - il n'est pas nécessaire de réserver, il y a toujours de place au camping).

Come Raggiungerci: La Festa delle Fate si svolgerà nel Parco Urbano Dell'Irno, pochi consoscono questo meraviglioso luogo che si trova Lungo la strada statale in direzione Baronissi all'altezza di Villa Desiderio, per chi non la conoscesse al bivio per il comune di Pellezzano seguite le indicazioni.

21.05.2011 Stasera e domani sera a Sirignano .. il risveglio del borgo antico! :o)

Cari internauti,

durante l'estate la nostra regione è ricca di eventi che cercano di valorizzare i centri minori (meno conosciuti) e il loro patrimonio artistico/culturale; personalmente amo andarmene in giro per esplorare ogni angolo della mia terra .. non sempre, ma spesso, si possono scoprire dei piccoli tesori! :o)

Voglio segnalarvi che stasera e domani sera, a Sirignano (in provincia di Avellino, circa 30 minuti d'auto da Napoli) c'è un evento chiamato "Il risveglio del borgo antico" (visitate questo link per maggiori informazioni: http://www.prolocosantandrea.com/), sembra che ci sarà musica, cibo e visite a siti di interesse storico/culturale.

Io ci andrò stasera, partirò da Torre del Greco (12 km da Napoli) alle 19:00, forse avremo dei posti liberi in auto. Se qualcuno volesse aggregarsi può mandarmi un messaggio verificare la disponibilità, oppure se non avete bisogno di un passaggio fatemi sapere se vogliamo incontrarci li ;-)

Dear surfers,

during the summer our region is rich of event that try to valorise the "minor" (less known) centers and its cultural/artistical heritage; I love to go around to explore every corner of my land ... not always, but often, you can discover little treasures! :o)

I want to report that this night and tomorrow, in Sirignano (province of Avellino, about 30 minutes by car from Naples) there is an event called "Il risveglio del borgo antico" (The awaking of the ancient hamlet, visit this link for further informations:http://www.prolocosantandrea.com/), it seems there will be music, food and visits.

I'll go there this night, I'll depart from Torre del Greco (12 km from Naples) at 19.00, maybe I'll have some seats free in the car. If someone want to join, send me a message to check the availability, or if you don't need a pass, please let me know if you want to meet us there ;-)
